Creation of a Bank Deposit File for maestro*CLOUD

Objective

This document explains how to create a bank deposit file and where to save it when maestro* is used in a CLOUD environment.

Steps

Generating a Bank Deposit File

maestro* > Time Management > Payroll > Payroll > Bank Deposit File

  1. In the menu of the file generation of the bank deposit file, click on the Configuration icon.

  1. In the File Name field, click on the ellipsis and then enter the path towards the MaestroSharedFiles directory.

  1. A file can be created in this location to save your exports.
  2. Once the bank file has been generated, access the latter and transfer it to the local workstation using the maestro* Explorer tool.

The maestro* Explorer tool allows a maestro* user in CLOUD mode to have access to the files in the SharedFiles directory. Users with the necessary authorizations will be able to copy, delete, and rename files, as well as create directories in the local hierarchy and in SharedFiles.

Configuring Supplier Direct Payments

maestro* > Purchasing > Maintenance > Purchasing > Configuration

If the Supplier Direct Payment Preparation option is used, it will have to be configured.

  1. Open the Payments tab.
  2. In the File Location field, click on the ellipsis and then enter the path towards the MaestroSharedFiles directory.

Create the Bank Deposit File on the Local Workstation

maestro* > Maintenance > File Maintenance > File > maestro* Explorer

  1. In the Cloud Computer section, select the bank deposit recording directory. If needed, open the hierarchy to find it.
  2. The files in the directory are displayed in the right section. Select a file to copy.

It is possible to copy various files at once by making a multiple file selection. To do so, hold down the Ctrl key and select the files.

  1. Click on Copy to the local workstation.

If access authorizations prevent the file copy, a message to this effect will appear.

For more information on how this tool works, consult the maestro* Explorer help document.
